Zillahs Jade Aspens debut film, The First Black Woman in Hollywood, will be released on November 9.
The film follows ZillAHJade as she returns to Hollywood after years of her life in the Southern city of Myrtle Beach.
The actress was born in Louisiana to an African-African American family in 1954 and raised in New Orleans.
“I am the first African- American woman to be nominated for an Academy Award, so I feel like it’s a privilege to finally have a piece of that history,” said Aspons sister, actress Zoey, as she shared her feelings about the nomination.
“And it’s something that is a big part of my life as well.
I feel so honored.”
Aspon was nominated for her performance in The Princess Bride and later in 2001 for her role in the blockbuster, The Wolf of Wall Street.
In the film, she plays a white girl who works at a bank while she and her boyfriend are attacked by an armed gang.
The movie is set to be released in theaters November 9, 2017.
“We are very excited to premiere this film, and the fact that it is a celebration of our African-Americans history and our history of the Black community is something that we hope to make very clear,” said ZillAhja aspon.
“This film is about an African American woman, Zilliah Jade Aspen, who is a part of our history.
It is a story of love, and we are very proud to be part of this film.”
The First Black woman in film was nominated at the 55th Academy Awards.
The actress said she wanted to make sure that her legacy was preserved.
“We are going to celebrate her life, her life was a part and parcel of our film, so it’s important that people understand that it was our intention to honor her, her family and her career.
It was something that I thought about very carefully,” she said.
